65/365 Trip to the Zoo!

Saturday we went on our big trip to the zoo, the weather was perfect & it wasn't crowded!

First stop was to the sea lions & seals area.

Viewing the sea lions & seals from under water.

Next was the alligator snapping turtle-that is found in OK.

Here is the red Panda! Jaxon was so excited, not exactly a giant panda but it worked for him.

Some large turtles were next.

Followed by the flamingos.

 The Bears, grizzly & black.

Jaxon and Cade had so much fun bottle feeding the orphan bull today. They also loved to pet him, he's so sweet. Jaxon was really worried about who was going to take care of him.

Cade is waiting for Momo to come down, she's bringing him a prize for potty training. He was so excited!

Jaxon's second picture day of the year was today. They took class pictures and single pictures. Yearbooks went on sale...and we are doing a fundraiser...money money money! I don't think its going to get any better as they get older either lol!

Jaxon is reading books for school so far he is at 190 he hopes to get to 200 this week and pesters us constantly to read! Cade love to get in on the action too!

Daisy & Cade spent quite a while yesterday playing at the door. Cade is a little bit scared of the big bad basset hound so this is the way he likes to play with her. They kept giving each other kisses through the glass.

Why is it that the boys are always hungry at bedtime? Maybe because they know I won't send them to bed hungry, some days I think they really are hungry. They just get so busy playing they forget to eat, wish they'd teach that trick to Mommy! Some days they just want to delay bedtime as long as possible. Tonight Cade wanted to eat some strawberry yogurt, and insisted on wearing the Santa hat purely because his brother was having a cow wanting it!
