The boys love a snow day!

Yesterday the boys played in the snow, and had a ball. Its rare we get a good snow. I'm told by my Mom that Cade can bend over make a snowball and throw it in two seconds, he's got pretty good aim too! This is the way the boys roll when its too slick to go down and pick them up ...or just because they want to!

 

Gotta love Gaga and the wagon. 

Thankfully its only a block down to Momo's house!

Cade was sooo sleepy after all that playing and fell asleep onlyhalf

30/365 Long cold day!

Early this morning we had a lovely wake up call at 2:30 am when our power went off again! We roughed it until the morning and went over to my lovely wonderful mother-in-laws house (Hi Kim ::waving::) As much as I enjoy sleeping on your lovely floor near the fire place, I hope that we don't have to repeat that anytime soon! The power came on this afternoon around 3:00pm and we were able to get home. I saw this at Kim's house as we were leaving. I thought that it was neat that it showed the layers of ice and snow on the tree...and also the road!

27/365 Our First Playdate!

We had our first playdate with Christian & Kade. Jaxon had a ball!

26/365 The Bug Shirt

Today as I was going through more summer clothes, Cade spotted this shirt and wanted it on. So I let him run around in it until it was time to go outside. He threw a fit when he had to put a long sleeve top on, and as soon as it was bedtime he wanted to wear it to sleep in. Here is on the couch right before bedtime in his 'bug shirt'

Ebay- that's what I'm doing today. I'm going through Cade's outgrown summer clothes and seperating in to ebay piles and consignment store piles...i've got three huge tubs to go through. I worked on it all day!

22/365 100 Days of School

Friday was Jaxon's 100th day of school. I made him a t-shirt to wear for the occasion, he thought it was pretty cool. Who knew the 100th day of school was a big deal? Not me, not until last year in pre-k. We even sent 100 goldfish to school, they were all bringing 100 snack items then dividing it up and making a snack mix. All in all a great day at school was had, there were hats and glasses they made and wore as well. Oh to be in kindergarten again!

Don't judge my photos, some are blurry, but I couldn't get him to smile, look at the camera and be still at the same time...having Daddy & Cade making goofy faces behind me didn't help anything either...

Brett & his Dad took the boys out to eat last night-I stayed home to relax =0)

The other day I was cleaning house and had picked everything off the floor so I could vacuum, when I got back to Cade's room to vacuum this is how I found him...

His 'fort' is in he floor still, he thinks Mommy is 'awesome' since I knew how to build a fort out of a box-more pics of that later. You can also see where he ripped down his curtains. There's another project for this weekend! Its a never ending list!

And a bonus of Daisy -this can not be comfy!

18/365- Daisy tries to make a friend...

So I looked out the window yesterday and this is what I see- Daisy laying in the yard near the 'squirrel proof' bird feeder that this squirrel has just dumped half the seed out of. Daisy tried to get close to the squirrel by sneaking up on him, I think she just wanted to be friends and play.

17/365 Cookies- Yummy!

I made these yummy cookies on Sunday night for Brett to take to school for the teacher lunch, then he needed a side dish so I made scalloped potatoes and got to keep these for me! These are my new favorite.

I wanted to share this picture with you, I found this while I was downloading pictures off our phone. Now about half our pictures had to be deleted because they were taken by Cade, he likes to sneak around with the phone and take pictures-which kind of impresses me because it takes me forever to find the camera app on our iphone =0) This picture shows how Daddy gets a hair cut, he gives Cade the phone. You can see Brett/ Daddy in the mirror getting his hair cut while Cade takes pictures of his shoes.

16/365 Kade's Party

Today we went to Kade's birthday party, and no I didn't spell my babies name wrong this is a differnt Kade. This is Jaxon's best little friend from school, a fact that is hard to explain to our Cade. My Cade loves to go pick up Jaxon (or baby as he is also known) after school, and always when I ask 'What did you do today?' Jaxon will reply ' I played with Kade, or Kade and I did so and so.' Which infurates our Cade and he insists that he was not at school and he didn't play with Jaxon today. I just giggle to myself rather than to try to explain again who the other Kade is...anyways back to the party. I like to ramble if no one has noticed yet, I think it genetic =0)

Anyways this is the first 'friend' party we have gone to because honestly I knew after the first one Jaxon would want one, now he knows there is more than family coming over for cake. Oh well it was lots of fun and Jaxon had a great time. I didn't bring my camera-bad mommy!- but I had our iphone so those pictures will have to do. These are of him bowling.

15/365 Panda's again!

I already posted a pic of Jaxon's panda collection but he just looked so sweet I snapped another picture...and it was about 11pm and I still hadn't taken my daily picture ha! It was either this or my dirty kitchen which I almost posted to shame myself into cleaning it...which I did later that night at two in the morning when I couldn't sleep, but that's another post!
