Looking for sea shells.
I love that you can see his hand prints too.

Awards Banquet for Native American  Students...what you didn't know Jaxon was a member of the Choctaw Nation? Wasn't the blond hair, blue eyes and pale skin give it away? He's 1/512th, not that I can judge at 1/256th =0) Jaxon won outstanding male Kindergarten student of the year. He loves his trophy!

110/365 Monday

Bodie & Cade took a nap this afternoon. Cade started out on the couch and Bodie was on the floor. I went to do the dishes and came back to find this =0)

109/365 Sunday

The boys got a new book- Walter the Farting Dog...sigh...they thought it was histerical and giggled the whole way through it. This was the last book on Jaxon's book list for school, they take them in ten books at a time. He is now at 290 books! He just loves to read and be read to.

108/365 Saturday

You really not gonna share the cookie?

107/365 Friday

104/365 Tuesday

Not what I want to see at midnight.....
I hate snakes, and the boys love fake snakes, though in my sleepy state it scared me, took me a minute to figure out it wasn't real.

103/365 Monday

She just looks cranky huh? Little stinker just got in trouble for eating bugs on the door....yuck, she barrels in to the door trying to sneak up on them and scares the crap outta me.

102/365 Sunda

Cade keeps buckling himself in .... problem is that he can't unbuckle himself. Last night at two in the morning I hear " Mommy I need help"  Makes me wonder what else he's getting up and doing in the middle of the night!

99/365

Its a rough life for a little guy. He got up early and went with me to drop off Jaxon at school today and met his teacher for next year...if I decide I can let him go, but that's another post! He came home played hard then fell asleep in the recliner while admiring his spiked hair in the hand held mirror lol.

98/365 Wednesday

Yummy pie...not just any pie but French Silk Chocolate pie, my favorite! Its simply divine but very rich!!
Now the picture doesn't do it justice, the whipped cream has been smooshed under cling wrap and I didn't put chocolate curls for decoration because I was too busy cooking other things. Its really easy to make!I got the recipie from allrecipies.com and I make a from scratch crust and whip the whip cream too. So much better than store bought, plus the boys love to help get rid of the extra whipped cream!

French Silk Pie
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1-1/2 cups white sugar
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 inch pastry shell, baked and cooled
  1. Cream butter in a mixing bowl. Gradually beat in the sugar with an electric mixer until light colored and well blended. Stir in the thoroughly cooled chocolate, and vanilla extract. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes on medium speed after each addition. Spoon the chocolate filling into a cooled, baked pie shell.
  2. Refrigerate two hours before serving!

97/365 Tuesday

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Here is my 'Not Me Monday'

I did not eat a piece of heavenly chocolate french silk pie for breakfast nope not me! I then did not tell the boys they couldn't have cookies for breakfast because it wasn't good to have junk first thing in the morning, nope not me!

I also did not raid the Easter Candy my boys so trustingly laid on the counter when they went to bed. Nor did I push the clock up thirty minutes so bedtime came a bit earlier and they thought they stayed up late...nope not me =0)

I am also not posting on my blog while my house work piles up around my ears..nope not me!
